Volunteering is so important for us to run our activities, and events.  As the work at The Space expands, we need more volunteers to run these more events and activities.

As participation is a key value of the space we encourage and are open for as many people to volunteer as possible, particularly people who live in or near Elsinge estate.

There are many different opportunities to get involved e.g. planning events, helping out during the school holidays, gardening.  There is a role suitable for everyone, whether it is cooking lunch for a group of people every week, making marketing materials for events, making raised beds for the garden or coming up with new activities for children to take part in.

Please get in touch if you are willing to volunteer at The Space or would like to find out more information.  We can then have a conversation and then there is a small application process for safeguarding purposes.

When the new building opens we are looking for new groups and activities to start, led by local residents, get in touch if you would be interested in starting a group or helping to run a group, to have a conversation about it.
